- We are looking for the future Head of Service Control Governance who lives and breathes these values, and who will:
- be the senior lead in continuously developing, improving and refining the control framework applicable to UBS cloud adoption, both internally, towards 3rd party service providers and cloud providers
- enable UBS Business Cloud adoption by chairing and leading the UBS Risk & Compliance Management Meeting which is responsible for curating all UBS cloud platform services to be compliant with the control framework
- enforce controls compliance in order to foster adoption of the UBS Cloud platform and of 3rd party cloud based services with strong information protection ensured, and in compliance with ever increasing and strict regulatory requirements
- lead the Cloud Control Assessments for 3rd party cloud based services, which involves guiding and managing the UBS Responsible Officer for the outsourcing proposals and their project manager / teams, plus the vendors involved, to obtain evidence how the protection of UBS data in the cloud related control framework is implemented and ensured
- drive the remediation requirements resulting from the Cloud Control Assessments towards contractually agreed remediation with the UBS Responsible Officer and the vendor, also requesting Operational Risk Issues to be raised and owned by the Business requestors
- negotiate complex vendor contracts for the information security in the cloud aspects, together with UBS Legal and UBS Contract Management, as well as the Business Functions requesting the services
- provide guidance and oversight on the compliance validation of the UBS Cloud Platform Provider, by continuously reviewing and scrutinizing the respective compliance audits (SOC2 Type 2), raising issues re control gaps and challenging the 3rd party compliance audits for completeness, coverage and accuracy
- manage and develop a global team of experts and specialists whose role is critical in helping UBS to pursue Cloud adoption in a controls and regulatory compliant way
- Onboard new resources and ensure they are trained and ready to meet demanding targets
- provide consultancy services, train and educate UBS Responsible Officers and 3rd party service providers, with regard to designing and implementing information security in cloud based services

- You will lead a high performance and key team of audit, risk and cloud professionals. The team sets high standards for enforcing controls compliance in information security for UBS Cloud based platform services and any 3rd party cloud based services UBS adopts. You will use your experience to gain buy-in from a broad set of stakeholders across UBS, from UBS Responsible Officers, from vendors, from regulators and from industry bodies.
- You will be supported by a team of three senior co-leads, one senior analyst, and currently six specialist analysts. We add capacity temporarily as required, from other teams in Service Control, or by adding interns.

**Your expertise**
- proven experience in multiple CISO, DISO, 2nd Line of Defense, Audit, risk management and control roles, with several years of experience and evidenced influence on developing and implementing control frameworks
- extensive knowledge in Cloud architecture, controls and implementation, at senior level
- an excellent communicator, negotiator and presenter, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to all levels of seniority
- ability to negotiate and foster agreements in difficult situations with difficult stakeholders and controversial positions
- extensive knowledge and practical experience in the use of risk and control related frameworks and standards such as CSA CCM / STAR up to L2, SOC2, and ISO standards)
- able to develop methodologies based on industry best practices that are adapted to UBS' needs and can be readily applied by the organization
- proven management skills over several years with global / remote teams, blending in and leveraging diversity to achieve better results, and with strong interpersonal skills.
- strong attention to detail in all tasks, methodical, concise and accurate, and at the same time able to quickly identify solutions and manage priorities when issues arise
