**Your responsibilities**:

- Periodically managing, planning, driving and supporting selected projects in ABB Group with an impact on Internal Controls, in collaboration with other project key stakeholders
- Providing regular updates, guidance, training, communications and support on these projects to the Internal Control community, Business Process Owners, Control Owners and other stakeholders, as required
- Assisting in the implementation of Group wide methodology changes
- Designing and driving strategic Internal Control initiatives and projects within the Motion business area in alignment with our overall Motion Internal Control strategy and business objectives, including any ad-hoc support required to the Motion Internal Control Managers in the countries on projects with global relevancy
- Supporting and driving implementation of process and control design enhancements to automate, standardize and simplify processes and controls leveraging the use of latest technologies in the market to enhance the control environment
- Coordinating, managing, monitoring and tracking projects in the Motion Internal Controls Global Project portfolio from planning, initiation through to completion and closure as well as benefit realization
- Supporting, as required, the Motion Global Process Lead on project activities related to the ABB Way Finance Transformation Program.
- Maintaining and developing the Motion Governance Framework in close co-operation with relevant stakeholders (Business Area (BA) Management, BA Functions, Divisions, other BAs Governance Teams, Corporate Governance Team) including Authorization tables as Global Business Authorization Table (BAT)/ Local BATs (Updates, Communication, Implementation, Standardization, Quality Assurance), Policies & Procedures as Corporate and EtE Policies (Alignment with BA Stakeholders); BA / Division Policies (Guidance and Quality Assurance) and Fiduciary Governance (in Motion lead countries) as Fiduciary Assurance Process / Motion Fiduciary Dashboard (Timeliness and Completeness, Quality Assurance).

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
- 7+ years of experience in Finance, Audit or Internal Control related areas in a complex, diverse and multi-dimensional global organization of significant size and scale
- Professional qualification equivalent to CPA is an advantage
- Solid understanding of SOX and US GAAP
- Good business knowledge and hands-on working experience in the area of internal control improvements.
- Solid knowledge on technologies that can support internal control automation and enhancements (e.g. data analytics, continuous controls monitoring, BPM tools, execution management systems ) as well as SAP systems
- Good knowledge on governance topics (authorization tables, fiduciary governance )
- Very strong project management and coordination skills, able to manage multiple projects at the same time and efficiently set up a project management framework and tracking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills with the ability to independently draw conclusions
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
