- The Ground Operations Dispatcher is responsible for checking operational feasibility of flight requests and processing them in a timely manner, resulting in safe, economic and efficient flights in accordance with customer needs.
- Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Ensure timely and good communication with all customers and representatives, striving for continuous improvements on service levels and operational excellence.
- Determine the most suitable trip planning with regard to national and international regulations (e.g. overflight permits), meteorological conditions, airport constraints and passenger comfort.
- Prepare operational flight plans (OFP’s) and file ATS flight plans for short and long-haul sectors while considering all relevant factors that may affect the operations (airplane performance, weather, Flight Time Limitations, Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs), overflight and landing permissions etc.).
- Provide crew with a thorough and professional crew briefing, covering all significant information that may impact the operation of his flight.
- Liaise and coordinate proactively with other internal and external departments to ensure that required services are provided in an efficient and timely manner e.g. security, maintenance team, ground handling, customs, etc.

**Minimum requirements**
- Relevant degree or high school diploma ideally with major in Air Transportation, or FAA (Federal Aviation Authority) or GCA (UAE General Civil Aviation) flight dispatcher licence
- Proficiency in English required with additional languages ideally
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in an airline or NCC operator is preferred
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills and a proactive approach.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, resilient, team oriented and a positive attitude.
- Experienced user of MS office and experience in dispatch software (Jeppesen, APG) Experience
