Process Owner Service Delivery

For our operational unit at **Zurich Airport**, we are currently looking for a

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Overall leadership of our Service Delivery department consisting of transport, dispatch, ramp/loading and, including responsibility for operational parameters as well as the financial performance and budgeting for the department
- Overall accountability for all Service Delivery employees, incl. recruitment, training and development, performance management, retention and running of day-to-day affairs
- Providing strategic direction and leadership to meet and exceed service quality and to reduce operating costs, implementing and maintaining our operational excellence objectives (gateOPEX)
- Accountability for planning and coordination and schedules, so that catering uplifts and associated products reach their destinations safely, on time and in the most cost-effective way while interacting with the customer where necessary to achieve this
- Partnering/championing with other Process Owners within our unit to ensure conflict resolution and removal of potential system/process roadblocks
- Responsibility for employee discipline and corrective actions in compliance with the regulations (Security / Country / Customer / Safety / Food Safety / / Company Rules and Procedures)
- Participation in (PRIDE/SQUAD) safety measures and oversees the investigations of incidents/accidents within their span/areas of control

**Qualifications**:

- Substantial practical experience in a comparable role within the fields of transport and logistics, gained in a fast-paced environment and with full managerial responsibility for a large and diverse team is indispensable for this position
- Fluency in German and English, verbally and in writing, is mandatory, while knowledge of further languages could be of benefit
- Experience in process improvement and sound working knowledge of the relevant tools with which to drive change management campaigns
- Entrepreneurial personality with, cost-aware mode of thinking, solid communication skills, outstanding customer orientation and the natural capabilities to build bridges with integrity when dealing with a highly diverse group of stakeholders
- Decision-maker with a pronounced can-do-attitude who is capable of inspiring her/his staff and of motivating the employees by being an authentic leader
- Experience in an environment with high demands regarding food hygiene, security standards and health & safety benchmarks
