Working as a Global Product Manager, you will be a key member of the ABB Excitation global product management team, driving increased customer value and profitable business growth through defining a competitive product offering, and managing it through its life cycle phases according to market needs, division strategy and business targets. In this role, you will help to develop a product portfolio for UNIREC, hydrogen rectifier, overseeing all steps in the life cycle, including development, launch, market development, pricing, and profitability. You will identify new market opportunities supporting the energy transition, space for innovation and drive initiatives accordingly.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Market intelligence analysis such as identifying potential gaps in portfolio, both against competition and new market opportunity.
- Defining clear value proposition for sold products and new offering and working closely with marketing and communication teams to deliver the right messages to the key audiences.
- Defining pricing strategies and models for sold products matching the targeted market position and the value product generates to the end customer.
- Collaborates with internal Marketing and Sales teams to define the marketing plan, communication, training, and sales initiatives to ensure best market coverage.
- Leads product strategy alignment and strategic roadmap definition for the product responsible.
- Owns product road map. Works with R&D to propose and evaluate product feasibility projects and roadmaps for new products; responsibility for achievement of targets (product characteristics, time, costs, pay-back).
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to execute new product development projects and taking responsibility for product management key deliverables, such as business opportunity assessment and market requirement specification.
- Manages both new and existing products; leads life cycle management process from phase-in to phase-out to ensure current and future market requirements are met and maximizes profitability.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or industrial engineering, or related fields with proficiency in business English (German is a plus).
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of work experience preferably in product management, technical sales or similar, experience in high power rectifier with water-cooling, excitation and/or power electronics industry is specifically preferred.
- Knowledge about the hydrogen industry, its market, customers, and main players.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience and skills in leading cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Enthusiasm and interest to understand evolving markets, emerging technologies, and customer needs in a broader context.
- Demonstrated know-how and experience on product life cycle management, new product development and commercial launch activities.
