In this role you will be responsible for developing the Energy market by executing sales strategy in order to achieve and exceed the sales target and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. You will enjoy creating, and completing winning bids, estimations or quotations based on customer specification, customer requirements or budget to achieve both market competitiveness and high margin of Switzerland's Process Automation Energy Industries sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the business line Excitation in a profitable way.

Marketing & Sales Manager

Your responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process. Provide any necessary technical support to Sales Managers during technical meetings with customers.
  • Implement sales strategy emphasizing growth initiatives, strategic sales, and business development, prioritizing customer interactions and delivering excellent service, while setting and achieving sales targets through value-based selling and contract negotiations.
  • Formulate competitive bids considering technical and commercial factors, ensuring thorough documentation with accurate costs.
  • Manage preparation of technical, financial, and project management aspects of bids, identifying and mitigating potential risks, and ensuring smooth handover to project execution team.
  • Ensure the daily operation to comply with company's internal guideline.
  • Ensure efficient usage of tools within the area of responsibility.
  • Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection.
  • Maintain and update the project forecast and marketing information reporting on time and with good quality.


Your background

  • Bachelor/master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • More than 3 years of experience in related field.
  • Experience in Bids & Proposals/Engineering in power generation/industry projects or service.
  • Previous experience in the field of Excitation- / power electronics systems / protection or synchronous generators will be an advantage.
  • Experience in system modelling or simulation as well as developing strong customer and internal relationships locally and globally will be an advantage.
  • Enjoy working in a wide variety of cultures and in many different sectors.
  • Fluent in French and English, German language of advantage.
