**Your tasks**:
As a Regional Sales Manager at D-Wave, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and broadening our commercialization in your local region. You will be responsible for leveraging the resources of the wider D-Wave team available to support you in Marketing, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, etc., cultivating strategic business relationships, and identifying opportunities to position quantum-powered computing solutions as integral components for solving complex and valuable business optimization challenges.
- ** Sales Strategy**: Develop and execute D-Wave's sales strategy to drive new business, focusing on selling Quantum Cloud products and services. Identify and recommend new customer projects utilizing D-Wave solutions in geographic regions. Effectively communicate D-Wave’s vision, strategy, and product roadmaps to executive and technical customers, demonstrating the value of our solutions.
- ** Prospecting and Lead Generation**: Conduct prospecting activities, qualify leads, deliver product presentations, and implement local sales campaigns to generate new opportunities.
- ** Customer Engagement**: Sell and position D-Wave products and services to individual customer prospects, understanding their business challenges and creating value propositions tailored to their needs.
- ** New Customer Projects**: Identify and recommend new customer projects that can leverage D-Wave solutions to solve complex Business problems.
- ** RFI/RFP Response**:Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs in collaboration with technical sales advisors, conveying customer requirements and feedback to internal teams.
- ** Representation**:Represent D-Wave at conferences, seminars, and other events to promote our products and engage with existing and potential customers.
**About you**:
- A builder of new verticals with a proven track record in targeted new verticals.
- Passionate about selling and have closed multiple $1M+ software license agreements.
- Well-connected with existing relationships having sold across a number of horizontal functions selling into fortune 1000 enterprises, systems integrators, independent software vendors, and global 2000 enterprises.
- Excellent with written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Able to map technical software and cloud solutions to customers’ needs.
- A strong listener with a consultative sales approach and the ability to establish credibility quickly with potential customers and partners.
- Ability to travel frequently (up to 50%+), including some international travel.
- Potentially technical with systems engineering experience a plus.
- Intellectually curious, honest, with integrity and a passion for discovery and success.
- You are fluent in German and English.
- You are based in Germany or Switzerland.
