At a Glance:
The EMEA team is one of the 3 regional teams at On, the fastest growing sportswear brand globally. Bianca, who is General Manager for EMEA, is looking for a powerful chief of staff and right hand, supporting her in leading EMEA strategy, internal communication and team.

Your Team:
You will be working in a cross-functional team with commercial and operational teams, spanning across Sales, Marketing, Digital, Customer Service (our happiness deliverers), Finance and Operations. Our EMEA office hubs are in Zurich, Berlin and London.

Your Mission:
You are joining the team as the right hand of the General Manager EMEA. In collaboration with the Senior Leadership Chief of Staff, your first and foremost task is to give the General Manager EMEA and her leadership team the framework, time and space to be able to fully focus on their leadership and managerial responsibilities. You do so by collaborating closely with them on:
Regional strategy:

- Leading and facilitating cross-functional projects that require input from business and operational functions (anything from new market entry studies to off-price strategy)
- Supporting the development of 3-year, 1-year and seasonal strategy for the region, in collaboration with the regional commercial and product management teams

Prioritization & management planning:

- Supporting the prioritisation of tasks, meetings and projects and being the “gatekeeper” of what’s valuable time spent and what not
- Independent preparation and follow up of important meetings, including weekly regional management meetings, and strategy off-sites with the wider regional leadership team
- Defining next steps and communicating meeting outcomes to wider teams following important meetings
- Supporting the EMEA leadership team members in the planning of their year + strategies
- Being an important link to other functional and regional teams within On

Internal communication:

- Ensuring a culture of transparency and open communication within the EMEA team
- Preparing regional strategy and team content for town-halls, open mic sessions and written full team communication, in partnership with leaders within the EMEA team
- Partnering with internal events and leadership coordinators on content & preparations for for global and regional meetings and workshops

Building and growing the team:

- Enabling the team to develop by partnering closely with leaders and the talent team on people related topics, including team building and performance, nurturing a culture of feedback and wellbeing
- Enable the team to work efficiently by driving set-up of frameworks, work processes and platforms
- Planning the further growth of the EMEA team and supporting the annual headcount planning and budgeting
- Enabling the recruiting process in close collaboration with our talent team, including following up on hiring progress for key hires

Your Story:

- You have a curious mindset and willingness to learn about our consumers, product categories and regional commercial strategy
- You have a background as Project Leader, Product Manager or similar with 3-5 years of experience
- You have strong communication skills and are able to build relationships quickly
- You have the ability to understand a complex, fast growing business reality and the diverse, international communities we are serving as a brand in EMEA
- You are a team player who enjoys spending time with diverse groups of people
- You have experience in cross-functional collaboration and you are a problem-solver
- You are very independent, yet are a people person: while you will technically not have direct reports, you are in a strategically important position looking after a whole team - you need to authentically care about people
- You easily connect with everyone and have fine tuned antennas regarding people topics
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, any other language skills are a plus
