Saxo Bank Switzerland is looking for a German Speaking Economist to be a key member of our highly rated team of Economists.
Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
- Identify and analyze key economic trends- Produce high quality, innovative research notes for a wide range of audiences- Interact frequently with external and internal clients
How do you succeed:
- A strong background in economics or econometrics- Some relevant experience at a central bank, a ministry of finance, an international organization or in research- Excellent communication skills in German (native speaker level) and English- The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment- Overall great communication skills with a first experience dealing with media- Understanding of monetary policy especially FX and interest rates policy by the SNB
Your profile:
As a person you are passionate, results-driven and entrepreneurial. Furter, you are a seasoned professional adept at creating trust and building lasting relationships, including with C-level counterparts.- Strong understanding of the financial markets and how Saxo fits into the FSI industry- Fluency in German and English- Experience and network in the Swiss B2B market (mainly banks and EAMs)- Strong consultative/solution sales skills-
- Master’s degree in Finance/Economics or similar is mandatory
