The Entertainment Operations Manager will oversee the operations of a selection of the MSC Cruise ships ensuring the maximum satisfactions of our Guests and full support to our teams onboard. They will also project manage the roll-out of ‘New Build’ ships and lead special projects (entertainment focused).
- 10 + years’ experience in the cruise industry and must have covered roles such as Cast\/Activities Manager\/Cruise Director or similar
- 10+ years’ experience in the entertainment business world, particularly: USA, South America, & Caribbean
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior operational\/managerial position (within the Hospitality\/entertainment industry)
- Key Language - English. Ita\/Spa\/Por advantageous
- Computer literete in Microsoft\/Adobe\/MOS
- In-depth knowledge of mixed nationality audiences - Specifically Euro-Centric
- Extensive experience in the Cruise\/Hospitality\/Leisure industry
- Excellent project management & flexible problem-solver
- Available to travel extensively worldwide at short notice
- Introduce trends & learnings from the global cruise industry
- Research and gain a constant awareness of the industry and our competitors
- Work with the Hotel Operations team to ensure the delivery of consistent and appropriate entertainment
- Ensure entertainement content resonates with the specific audience\/market
- Generate ways of working and provide consistent support network for our large team
- Assist with recruitment, training, and people management of Cruise Directors & Entertainments team
- Create, edit, and manage standard operating procedures to ensure consisency with global standard

As a result, MSC Cruises' fleet will double by 2026, while the passenger capacity will triple to reach five million passengers per year. MSC Cruises is the first cruise company to develop an investment plan of this length and magnitude.
