The role

The position of Treasury Operations Manager is part of the CIL Global Treasury team based in Geneve and focuses mainly on the Management of the Treasury Front and Back offices.
Furthermore, this position covers the Treasury of Swiss and Head office entities, therewith maintaining global banking and external Audit relationships for these entities.

The Role is a central role for many internal and external customers from our banks and external auditors to internal teams such as finance, tax, compliance, operations, trading, and all other treasury teams across the 37 CIL locations.

**Responsibilities**:
Cash Management

Global responsibility for the Cash management of the Group's Global cash pools. This includes:

- The forecasting of the data, the daily management of the pools and pool positions, the negotiation of the loans, and the global relationship with the Group Cash management banks;
- Automation of the forecasting and loan processes to enhance the Treasury experience;
- An active role in the new forecasting tool that the Group will work on in the coming months.

Global responsibility for the intercompany loans of CIL working closely with Legal Tax and banks to ensure optimal set-up. This process also includes the design and move of the intercompany loans onto the new Treasury repository. On this project, the individual will work closely with the treasury team in charge of systems;
Responsible for the Analysis of the Group fees with a special focus on the detailed monthly review of fees charged to the Group by the CIL Global banks;
Active review of the Group cash balances;
Contribution to set-up new ways to further enhance the Global Group cash management in close relation with other members of the Global Treasury team;
In this role, the Treasury Operations Manager will be supported by the Senior Treasury Analyst based in Porto.

Back-office

Responsible for the Back-office team of 3 members in Porto that manage payments for Switzerland and EMEA countries, the FX back office for the Global Group as well as the back office of the Group loans;
Responsible for the relationship with our FX counterparties 360T and Finastra and our payments partners FIDES. He/She will be responsible for enhancements related to these systems as well as their administration;
As part of the above responsibilities, the Treasury operations manager will be responsible for Kyriba. the CIL Group Treasury System. He/she will also work closely with IT on the implementation of SAP for payments in all CIL entities moving to SAP to ensure that the Global processes are followed;
Ensure daily/weekly/monthly Treasury Controls and KPIs are monitored and enforced.

Reporting
- The daily Treasury report for Group top management;
- The monthly reports and reconciliations to accounting numbers;
- The reporting required by COFCO Group/SASSAC and for any other China Reporting
- Any other ad-hoc reporting.

He/She will be appointed bank signatory for most of the Group entities and be responsible for the review and approval of payments;
He/She will be responsible for head-office entity Treasury management and be the primary contact for the external auditors;
He/She will be actively involved in other Treasury Operations projects that are run throughout the year;
He/She will be one of the main contacts for the Group for any Treasury Operations-related questions for any of 100+ entities as one of the primary Global Treasury team members.

Good IT skills especially in database understanding;
Knowledge of Kyriba and or SAP is a plus;
Experience with Inhouse Bank is a plus;
