Renewable Energy Project Manager

As a Renewable Energy Project Manager (m/w/d), you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of renewable energy initiatives of our client project portfolio. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and completion of complex renewable energy projects. You will work closely with the Commercial Manager, Business Development Manager, and Technical Manager to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Work location: Zurich

Home office possibilities: max. 1 day per week

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Management: Lead all aspects of the renewable energy project lifecycle, from conceptualization to completion. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to guide the team through each phase of the project.
- Cost Control: Implement robust project cost control measures to monitor expenses, track budget adherence, and identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with the Commercial Manager, Business Development Manager, and Technical Manager. Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align project goals, strategic objectives, and resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Effectively communicate project progress, challenges, and achievements to key stakeholders, including executives, investors, and regulatory bodies. Address concerns and provide transparent updates to maintain stakeholder confidence.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines, budget, or quality.
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Prioritize and enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experienced in successfully managing and delivering renewable energy projects within the heavy infrastructural sector (also** solar, wind**, etc). Experience in PPP projects - nice to have.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with project cost control and budget management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration across different departments and with external stakeholders.
