An opportunity exists for a sales professional who wants to join Fisher Scientific and to work in the environment of cosmetics, nutritional’s, Innovative food, and Agriculture.

A day in the Life:
- Prospect and establish new opportunities by leading a sales pipeline and developing and delivering proposals to customers by illustrating Thermo Fisher’s value proposition.
- Seek out broader relationships within the account to help facilitate networking and prospecting
- Build a strong understanding of defined geographical region and sub-segments through in-depth research and analysis of potential customers and markets. Understand the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate cross functionally and cross divisionally to use total company capabilities and relationships
- Exhibits expertise of current market and competitive trends and its impact to broader business initiatives
- Effectively navigates relationships and connections and leads strategies
Keys to Success:
**Education**
- MBA or professional business education is required
**Experience**
- 10 years of significant and shown experience across a wide range of sectors. Experience from Industrial segments such as Food and Agriculture would be an advantage. A sound understanding of the current marketplace for laboratory products
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Must possess self-motivation, passion, a positive approach, and perform as an excellent teammate
- An ability to deliver a comprehensive value proposition to meet customer needs which includes all relative components of the company’s capabilities.
- The job holder must possess a highly developed interpersonal and communication skills vital to represent the Company. These skills must be complemented by the ability to work as a member of a team, building consensus and the co-operation of colleagues and external contacts.
- Proven negotiation skills and successfully gaining new contracts
- Proficient in English, verbal and written.
- Proficient with SFDC, Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Power BI
- Full driver’s license and ability to travel up to 50% of time
