Within Johnson & Johnson Enterprise Supply Chain the Synchronized Planning function is recruiting for a Director, Plan Capabilities & Standards.

**Director, Plan Capabilities & Standards (f/m/d), 80-100%
**Historical approaches to improve planning process outcomes have been implemented independently around process transformation, and or technology deployments and or organizational design. These initiatives typically release some value; however, they are often not followed up with robust ongoing process management, training, or systematic review.

To drastically improve planning outcomes (including customer service, inventory capital deployed and cost) it is essential to develop and High Performing Team culture, utilizing sustainable processes, supported by appropriate technologies with the best organizational set up.

The purpose of the role is to develop, deploy and sustain a comprehensive methodology and appropriate tools to ensure J&J’s planning capabilities advance & mature rapidly, considering People, Process and Technology.

While the heart of the role is Plan centric is it essential to contribute to the overall development and alignment of methodologies for the total supply chain within the Enterprise Standards, Risk and Compliance Team.

Accountabilities

The Director, Planning Capabilities & Standards Leader, in collaboration with the segments is accountable for:

- Maintaining existing Plan process decomposition standards (processes, RACI’s etc.) with segment alignment.
- Supporting assessments of Plan functional maturity in segments with existing tools.
- Lead development of enterprise and segment roadmaps to outline the journey to adopt the

emerging Digital Capabilities Model for Plan (Synchronized Planning), considering:
- People training and adoption of new methodologies, with review & certification.
- Intuitive Process standards documentation (to appropriate level) with interactive process

interrogation capabilities linking to organizational and technology aspects. Measurable and
- reviewable.
- Ensuring emerging technologies supporting planning are process and organizational

mapped and integrated into the standards and maintained.- Enablement of efficient, periodic assessment and development of gap closing management

action plans.- Link assessments to Gartner maturity model.
- Introduce certification to training & link to role requirements
- Develop Knowledge management methodologies with counterparts across supply chain.
- Contribute to developing Master Data strategy for Enterprise Plan

Key Relationships

This position will work closely with various Supply Chain stakeholders including but not limited to: - Sector leaders of the Plan functions at the VP, Director, and other levels of the organization - Make, Deliver, Source, Product Management, or other SC leaders - Enterprise groups (JJT, D&DS, SR&C, IT, among others)

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required.
- APICS Trained / Certified

**Experience**:
Required:

- A minimum of 15 years of related Supply Chain planning related experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of knowledge management, training, and process assessments.
- Overall strong background / experience in planning technologies (e.g OMP) and emerging digital
- planning capabilities (Control Tower).
- Experience in Digital Tools development & deployment within knowledge management and planner
- competency/maturity development.
- Demonstratable curiosity in advancing planning organisations capabilities, knowledge management
- and ideally the new Digital Capabilities Model (ASCM).
- Planning parameter master data management experience.
- Relevant mix of global, regional, and multi segment experience is preferred.
- Proven project leadership experience with strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Budget ownership & external vendor management experience.

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
- Strength in interdependent partnering and team management is required.
- The ability to effectively manage projects, timelines, and change management is required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, making the complex clear and
- compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms is required.
- Ability to embed a culture of harmonization and process improvement and value creation across the
- business is required.
- Clear understanding of external Supply Chain trends and emerging best practices.
- Strong influencing role in shaping the journey for future of PLAN is preferred.
