Our client, an ambitious and booming OTA, is looking for an experienced Marketing & Sales Director to join their team and lead the marketing and sales operations.

You will be responsible for developing and executing our marketing and sales strategies, overseeing our market research and customer insights, and managing our brand positioning and customer experience.

You will also be accountable for driving revenue growth, increasing customer acquisition and retention, and achieving our sales targets.

Tasks

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in online consumer marketing and sales management, with proven experience in leading teams, creating campaigns, analysing data, and continuously optimising performance. You should also have excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, a customer centric passion as well for our products and services.
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand, marketing and sales strategies that align with our company’s mission, goals and vision
- Manage marketing and sales plans, budgets, projects and allocate resources effectively
- Oversee the company’s overall online multichannel and multi markets branding, communication, advertising and sales strategy
- Supervise, plan, and execute the company’s marketing and advertising activities across markets and various channels
- Coordinate marketing and sales efforts with the company’s directors for hotel purchase, hotel key account management and customer services
- Ensure all marketing and sales campaigns are consistent with our brand identity and values
- Review and approve market by market marketing and sales campaign initiatives and ideas
- Generate revenue by increasing sales through communication with brands, multi channels, feedback from customers on social media, etc.
- Monitor marketing and sales performance, analyse data, and report on key metrics
- Develop and continuously enhance the structure as well operations of the business’s marketing and sales departments
- Analyse market trends, customer behavior, competitor activities, and industry / online best practices
- Research the market to provide innovative growth ideas for sales, campaigns, brand, communication, online channels, AI, products and services
- Make over and over data-driven decisions to optimize marketing branding, advertisement, communication, campaign and sales efforts
- Stay updated on industry trends and foster innovation to drive the company’s online competitive advantage in the market

**Requirements**:
You are a result driven person who can tune in with our offer, target audience, culture, the team and then develop the strategy as well successfully execute the

marketing and sales “game plan” that will maximize growth and return on investment and spend. You will together with the marketing team keep the

company at the forefront of new developments within the online marketing and sales domain. It is your skill, passion, and determination together with your

team to deliver outstanding results. You continuously review new trends, online technologies and swiftly implement those to deliver the highest possible ROI.

**Experience that will support your success**:

- Proven experience in a senior role for Europe as an online B2C Marketing & Sales Director with experience at an OTA or TO, or branded retail products
- Successful high-level results achieved in terms of multi markets online sales, customer growth, brand and advertisement ROI performance
- Experience in operating and developing CRM software, AI, analytics tools, social media platforms, etc.
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written, fully native/full fluency in English, plus preferably in German and Scandinavian languages
- Excellent business acumen, competencies and skills in business partnerships, negotiation, closing agreements and presentations
- Highly self-driven, motivated and very ambitions as well as excellent problem-solving skills & ability to handle challenges
- Outstanding result driven leadership competencies, skills and ability to lead, manage, develop and motivate multinational teams
- Creative thinking competencies, skills and ability to come up with and implement inside and or outside the box innovative high potential ideas
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field and Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred
- Extensive knowledge of online marketing principles, techniques, methods, tools such as SEM, SEO, SoMe, CTA, CRO, UX, UI, AI, programmatic, etc.
- Senior competencies and skills in creating and implementing successful marketing campaigns across various markets and channels
- Experience in conducting market research, analysing data, generating insights, etc.
- Passionate about online marketing, sales, our customers, products, services and customer-oriented
