About the role

Mass Market Channel Activation Manager role is to ensure excellent execution of shopper and customer activations and programs for Sensodyne, Paradontax, OM3, Corega, Centrum brands in Mass Market channel. The position will require strong cross functional collaboration, working closely with marketing, sales and demand/supply to ensure alignment of our objectives and strategies of our business to maximize growth opportunities and meet customer and shopper needs; and co-create an OHC category vision and strategy to significantly change shopper and consumer behaviour mid-/long-term to enable sustainable and profitable category growth. You will be responsible for understanding and leveraging market, channel, category and shopper insights, defining and driving “how to win” strategies and creating compelling stories to support strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide a holistic, long-term view on shopper trends across channels and categories
- Provide category thought leadership around brand & category initiatives based on the OHC category vision and strategy
- Provide a holistic perspective for the OHC category regarding channel thinking:b develop channel go-to-market strategies on innovations (esp.

Longterm vs. Mid/shortterm on shopper mgrs) and design strategies to access the right channels, validated with business cases
- Lead the translations of the category growth story into a compelling category sell-in story
- Provide and/or co-create analytical framework for an advanced / best
- in-class data based insight generation strategy to fully leverage our shopper and market data
- Drive overarching projects and strategic initiatives
- Implement compelling sell-in stories based on overarching brand strategy, execute annual promotion plan flawlessly and bring shopper strategies and trade activation to life instore
- Deliver excellent In Store Execution (development of repacking items, POS material)
- Drive complexity reduction by continuously optimizing ways of working with supply and external partners
- Ensuring performance tracking and initiating corrective actions to improve performance, if needed
- Development of sales cycle planning in coordination with sales
- Collaborating and co-creating closely with the cross-functional teams (Comex, Mkt, Sales,Demand/Supply) to make sure that respective input is integrated in order to guarantee best possible sell-in and excellent execution in Store (off
- and online)
- Agency and external supplier management
- Budget ownership

Qualifications and skills

Essential
- Proven background in channel activation or trade marketing, ideally in FMCG.
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams.
- Proficiency in using market and shopper insights to inform strategies.
- Effective in managing multiple initiatives and driving execution.
- Ability to develop compelling category strategies and sell-in stories.
- Fluent in English

Preferred
- Familiarity with OHC (Oral Health Care) category
- Experience working with external agencies and suppliers
- Understanding of budget ownership in marketing contexts.
