**About the role**

**QA Release Manager, Rotkreuz, Switzerland**

**More than 80** prescription medicines are provided by Novartis to the Swiss market to address most major disease areas, from cancer to heart disease to rare genetic disorders to radioligand products
Would you like to join the Country QA organization responsible for the quality and release of these products? Then join the QA team in the Swiss Country Organization.
As a QA Release Manager, you proactively ensure quality oversight and compliance of the products in the market. Therefore - in product-related areas (e.g. Batch Release, deviation management) - you take on the role of the local process owner. You will operate at the interface between manufacturing and the market, you are the business partner for various functions. As a project lead, you drive compliance, innovation and operational excellence.
You develop and champion both a quality culture and a quality approach.
**Your key responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Responsible for the release and non-release of product batches of marketed goods. This includes all products marketed by Novartis Pharma Schweiz AG, e.g. Advanced Therapies Medicinal Products (ATMPs and radioligand products).
- Performing QA activities for product-related change requests.
- Managing quality incidents and representing the country in escalation calls and monitors required activities for investigations.
- Timely communication with Health Authorities, as required.
- Ensure readiness for all GxP regulatory inspections & audits and performs self-inspections according to plan.

**Role Requirements**

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Master's degree in pharmacy or comparable education/scientific background with experience in GxP area.
- Proficiency in German and English (oral and written), French or Italian as advantage.
- Several (min. 5) years professional experience in pharmaceutical industry, analytics, quality assurance, production, distribution or pharmacy.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills.
- Strong project management skills, including simplification approach, critical thinking and ability to lead changes.
