**Position Summary**:The Study Set Up Associate Project Manager (SSU APM) is a Subject Matter Expert in all technical aspects of Distribution Study Set Up, working as part of a team of specialists within Client Services Distribution at the Basel site.
This role involves:
- creating the global distribution framework that enables clinical trial shipments within our GPM system, ensuring that country specific and client specific requirements are met in accordance with standard operating procedures and current GMP.
- Working flexibly and carefully on multiple study set ups concurrently to ensure that timelines are met, often to challenging and changing deadlines.
- Collaborating with clients and other colleagues in the Distribution team to complete training and act as in an advisory capacity ensure all required tasks are completed when making critical changes to distribution studies.
- Working efficiently and to deadlines with attention to detail, collaborating with colleagues to maintain a quality focus at all times.
**Responsibilities**:
- Completing the technical set up of Distribution studies in GPM (Global Project Management), creating proforma invoice templates and standard instructions for order processing, despatch and logistics as per SOPs.
- Creating and coordinating approval of instructions for third party depots involved in the study and revising as required.
- Scheduling approval of the distribution study set up, being available to support questions from clients or colleagues or correct any errors.
- Maintaining personal training requirements and remaining in compliance of GMP training scheduled through training software.
- Supporting review of departmental SOPs, preparing work instructions and other tools, investigating any quality incidents in a timely manner.
- Working with Project Managers to maintain the Client Profile set up to manage the specific requirements of each client.
- Using SME knowledge to formally test software updates to GPM and advise on changes that will affect how the team use the system.
**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications**:
- Requires understanding and competent use of SOPs required by company Quality standards.
- Requires excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and self manage priorities.
- Requires strong and effective communicator with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and clients.
- fosters effective organisational relationships internally and develop strong customer management skills; proactively anticipates, understands, and responds to the needs of clients to meet or exceed their expectations.
- Requires ability to learn and master all internal systems associated with projects (i.e.GPMS, Trackwise).
**Education/ Experience**:
- Preferably requires accredited college, university or recognized professional degree in a health related field.
- Ideally requires 1-2 years of successful experience in a similarly demanding role where close attention to detail and working in a high pressured environment can be demonstrated.
- **Preferred Qualifications**:
- Prefer in depth understanding of clinical trials with a quality mindset.
- 10 - 25% Travel as needed.
