The Platform Architect exercises architecture authority over their technology area of responsibility and guide Solutions Architects to ensure the integrity of the technology architecture and realize the benefits coming from standardization, synergy, and optimization of the technology landscape across Business and Domains. They shape the detailed strategy for their area of responsibility and lead the execution on IT technology strategy to ensure alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives, while participating actively in communities of practice and other architectural bodies to ensure dissemination of best practices.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Is responsible for maintaining horizontal view of technology for the area of expertise across all businesses and domains to assure the realization of benefits from technology simplification, standardization and modernization of ServiceNow Platform
- Develops policies, standards, guidelines in the technology area of responsibility for ServiceNow Platform
- Defines or as the case may be assist technology strategy in concert with Corporate IS Enterprise Architecture to ensure alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives
- Create and Maintain Roadmap for ServiceNow Platform
- Approves, reviews and defines the technical blueprints, reference architectures and standards, collaborating with Capabilities, CX and Strategy Lead Architects
- Is accountable for the shape of technology landscape in the area of responsibility across entire ABB, ensuring technology fit through sanity checks.
- Guides and leads ServiceNow Solution architects in projects to ensure fit to the ABB technology landscape in the area of responsibility.
- Mentor ServiceNow Architects for Project, Program and Build Architecture reviews

**Your background**:

- Master’s degree in information management, computer systems, information technology, business engineering or similar
- Applications: Data and Data Analytics, ServiceNow Platform Architecture, Application and ServiceNow data integration
- Infrastructure: Hosting and Storage, Connectivity, Cloud Architecture
- Workplace: Digital Workplace, Unified Communications
- Security: Encryption and Data Protection, Platform Security and Identity and Access Management
- Collaborate on the evaluation, recommendation, adoption, business readiness, and implementation of Service-Now technology solutions across the organization
- Preside over design/configuration decisions to ensure a seamless user experience that aligns with the platform design strategy
- Oversee and manage the implementation of developed code, configuration, and administrative changes being deployed into all ServiceNow environments
- End-to-end management of the ServiceNow platform, including administration of all components, configuration management, knowledgebase and libraries management, reporting, interfaces, licenses, portals, and the overall health of the platform
- Establish architectural controls to ensure the correct technical solutions are used when delivering business solutions
- Work with Cloud Managed Services Platform, product management and product owners to document the architecture impacts/guidance and perform PoC to create detailed requirements for Development teams
- Design reusable frameworks to onboard customers, partners, offer, devices onboarding and integration with other ops components like Ansible, Terraform, monitoring systems and evolve ITSM processes through well crafted and documented API
- Team player, supporting and promoting team accomplishments with a proven ability to drive change through influence and collaboration across a matrix organization in a highly fluid environment Experience working within TOGAF or other architectural framework
- Drive high performing relationships with strategic development partners to ensure high quality delivery of all aspects of solution development to maintain consistency, stability and supportability of the solution and processes.
