Ferring+You

As part of the Ferring strategy to strengthen its Biologics portfolio, you will be part of the Upstream process development team within the Ferring Biologic Innovation Center (FBIC) located in Epalinges, Switzerland.

In this role you will support the process development for new biologics therapeutics, the scale up of the process as well as characterization and validation activities. You will also help in improving further Ferring development capabilities by the mean of internal innovation projects as well as external collaboration.

Your day at Ferring- Drive and execute USP development activities for new and existing Ferring Biologics therapeutics, including cell culture laboratory activities in various bioreactor sizes.- Identify, assess, and implement innovative solutions to further develop the lab capabilities.- Organize the USP lab in a lean, efficient, and smart way.- Be accountable for your work and working environment.- Supervise intern/master student on innovative projects.- Identify potential partners and manage external collaborations.

Behind our innovation There’s you- Ability to drive USP process scale up and scale down activities.- Collaboration with manufacturing sites (internal or CDMOs) for tech transfer and manufacturing support.- Experience in intensified process and/or continuous processing.- Experience in HEK cells culture for viral production.- At ease with the use of statistical analysis for bioprocessing.- Enjoy diversity in the mission.- Be proactive with an eye for continuous improvement.- Willingness to perform some weekend work duties when required.- Communicate orally and in writing fluently in English.
