Intern in Bioinformatics and Computational Modeling

Your Tasks

To join our Team, we are looking for an intern motivated to apply his knowledge and skills to the development of computer modeling tools for processing fluorescent signals. Your role will be to:

• Identify signal patterns characteristic of outliers in negative samples.
• Analyze and correct abnormal signal patterns in positive samples by developing signal “smoothing” tools.
• Automate data processing workflows for signal analysis and pattern recognition.
• Collaborate with team members to validate and optimize the developed tools.
• Document the results and methodologies following the company’s quality management system (QMS).

Your Skills

• Master 2 program with a double competence in biosciences and data sciences: a solid foundation in biological sciences combined with expertise in computational methods is required.
• Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling, including confidence intervals, parametric tests, multivariate analysis, and mixed linear models (experience with R/RStudio is a plus).
• Proficiency in programming for data processing and modeling (Python, R, or C ), with a particular focus on data automation and machine learning techniques (e.g., K-means, DBSCAN, hierarchical clustering).
• Familiarity with biological data modeling, including the use of differential equations, stochastic processes, and system dynamics.
• Knowledge of signal processing and image analysis.
• Experience with database management (SQL/SQLite) and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Rigor, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical results clearly and concisely to multidisciplinary teams.
• Language requirement: French (Fluent) and English (C1 Cambridge level)
