Ferring+You

You will be at the center of a cross‑functional unit which supports all the analytical activities for cell line development, upstream process development, and downstream process development at Ferring Biologics Innovation Center located in the attractive area of Biopôle, Switzerland. You will ensure the delivery of complete and compliant CMC analytical packages, with defined quality standards, from project initiation to marketing approval.

Your day at Ferring
- Executing analytical laboratory operations according to defined plans and timelines
- Fully contributing to all the CLD, USP, and DSP analytical requirements
- Performing diverse analytical tests, evaluating, and presenting results to the Team
- Developing, qualifying, validating, and transferring analytical methods
- Providing analytical expertise at various levels of CMC projects across Ferring functions
- Authoring relevant analytical documents, including study protocols, reports, and SOPs
- Ensuring appropriate qualification, calibration, and maintenance of analytical equipment
- Ensuring that work is performed according to proper safety and quality regulations

Behind our innovation There’s you
- Minimum MSc in Biochemistry or relevant Life Sciences degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical research and development
- Excellent laboratory skills demonstrated by hands-on experience in a wide range of protein chromatographic and electrophoretic techniques such as SEC, RP, IEX, NP, HIC, cGE, cIEF
- Ability to focus on the big picture and aligning the analytical goals to the overall project strategy
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based department
- Good scientific planning skills and execution with mínimal guidance
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- A good command in English, both written and spoken
