User Experience Design Diversity Intern

We welcome curious, open-minded students from non-banking areas of study to experience life at the heart of the financial services industry. Our Diversity Internship gives students in-depth insights into banking through coaching with experienced mentors, shadowing days that provide experience in a range of departments, networking opportunities and tailored (on-the-job) training. You work on real-life business challenges and have responsibilities within your team, so you can learn on-the-job. It’s a rich, fulfilling program designed to harness and develop your skills, build your confidence, and provide a rewarding, inspiring experience.
**Start date**:April 2023
**Duration**: 6 months
**Academic requirements**:Completed at least four semesters of a bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a master’s degree from a university or university of applied sciences
**Your field of responsibility**
During your internship you will learn to create engaging, user-centered experiences across digital touchpoints. You will get hands-on with interaction design, visual design, research, and prototyping. You will learn about the different stages of the design process and work with experienced UI/UX designers as well as with colleagues from other functional areas.
**Your future colleagues**
We are a global design team in charge of developing our next generation of user experience and user interfaces. Our team comes from different backgrounds and cultures, and we work across the whole UX/UI spectrum, building on each other’s strengths. We work on a variety of Wealth Management projects with different stakeholders across international locations. Whilst the majority of the team is physically located in the Asia Pacific region, we are growing our presence in Switzerland. Our communication style is open and our working style collaborative.

- Practical experience with relevant software tools (e.g. Figma)
- A strong enthusiasm for User Experience & Design and a keen interest in financial markets
- High amount of curiosity and motivation to learn
- Creative yet organized approach to tackling problems and creating solutions
- An eye and appreciation for clean and artful design
- Pro-active and self-motivated team-player
- Fluent in English
