**YOUR ROLE **:In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the strategy and continuous development of our Crosstrade business in Switzerland. You will lead the Crosstrade team, develop your employees and actively expand the successful area. In doing so, you will ensure the ongoing optimization of processes. You will take over the planning and control of the operational business, maintain close contact with your customers and thus maximize business opportunities.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- You always keep in mind our strategic corporate goals and are responsible for the development of your department
- You are responsible for the professional and disciplinary personnel management and the further development of the employees in your department
- You will also be responsible for the planning and control of operational processes with regard to the prioritization of customer orders
- You will continuously derive improvement measures from SLA and KPI reports as well as from quality reviews of the customer advisory service
- In terms of professional knowledge management, you identify knowledge gaps, prepare new information and communicate it to your team and other departments
- You present the development of your department to the division and management - for this purpose you prepare reports and statistics and are responsible for the budget planning of your department

**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES**:

- Educational background in logistics/forwarding or a degree in supply chain management is desirable
- Sound experience in the field of sea logistics, ideally in the crosstrade area
- Several years of management experience
- High customer orientation and professional communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent English, German language skills are advantageous
- Strong analytical skills and affinity for data-based work
