Who we are looking for
You are an experienced Business Coordinator who will assist the CEO of Symbiotics Asset Management on monitoring strategic objectives and coordinating internal resource mobilization for an efficient and productive collaboration. You will ensure that the agenda (and the schedule) of the CEO - and the Executive Committee of Symbiotics Asset Management as backups - is always structured optimally, in accordance with short and long-term priorities set by the strategic governance including the Group and the Board.
The position is based in our Head office in Geneva, with reporting line to the CEO of Symbiotics Asset Management.
About the Job
Arrange corporate governance and management meetings and and committees by managing plannings, preparing agendas, drafting presentation materials if required, taking meeting notes and following-up with stakeholders on action items
Monitor, design or contribute to the production of periodical management and business reports for the top management
Manage the planning of internal and external events for the CEO and the executive committee as a backup, regionally and internationally
Coordinate the relationship with impact associations (ie SSF, SFG) or other groups
Build and maintain effective working relationships with the executive and management committee members as well as all employees
Your Qualification
We are looking for a dynamic team player who is result-oriented, autonomous, and able to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.
More specifically, you have the following skills and competencies:
Degree in finance, economics or any other business-related field or the equivalent in working experience is also acceptable for the position
At least 5 years’ experience in financial services, preferably in asset management as an executive assistant, business coordinator or as a project manager
Outstanding organizational skills
Motivated and eager to learn with a high level of integrity
Willingness and ability to work against tight deadlines with the highest degree of accuracy and a collaborative attitude, flexible and adaptive team player
Assertive when communicating both externally and internally at all levels
Knowledge in using various softwares, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software (MS Office) etc
Interest in impact finance and/or sustainable development
Able to work comfortably in both English and French
Swiss/EU National or valid Swiss Work Permit is required
