Business Development Manager

Our client is the global leading provider of cyber security trainings and certifications. With offices across the world and business growing steadily, we are now recruiting for their Swiss team, a Business Development Manager to be based from a home-office somewhere in Switzerland. This is a permanent and unlimited contract.
Tasks
As the new Business Development Manager, you will thrive on developing new business and have the ability and patience to work to both short and long sales cycles. You will be a hands-on new business hunter who likes to roll your sleeves up and open doors with your clients. Senior Executives within large corporations as well stakeholders in the public sector, make the decisions in this case and you must be comfortable selling at this level.
As you will be the only sales person in Switzerland, there is also an aspect of account management within the role. The market is already built up and the existing clients need to be looked after and grow further.
You will be tasked with the following
- Build a territory plan and work consistently to target
- You will be responsible for generating and closing new business
- Consultative sales towards your clients by selling a solution consisting of both the product and the service
- Work closely together with your colleagues from all departments when putting together the best solution for the client based on its needs
- Build relationships within your clients in order to penetrate further within the organisation
- Work with business leaders on forecasting and ensure sales reporting is up to date
**Requirements**:
As the new Business Development Manager, you will be a target driven and proactive sales person who has a previous track record in a high target driven environment.
You have the following key skills
- Previous experience selling within large enterprises, this is a senior level role
- Experience selling a service such as trainings or consultancy is an advantage
- Experience on the Swiss market with existing knowledge of the region
- You will be selling to C-Level Stakeholders so essential is the ability to speak their language
- Experience and/ or knowledge in cyber security is of advantage, but to a necessity
- Fluency in both German & English is a must, German needs to be business fluent as you will be selling in German.
- You have previous worked to targets and have a proven track record of sales achievement.
- You are someone who is looking for a next step that is going to be long term.
