You represent the firm in both domestic and international industry groups and maintain and develop a good network to stakeholders and contact points. You ensure an effective crisis management throughout the global organization and collaborate closely with peers and main stakeholders across multiple divisions, regions, and functions to ensure best suited solutions from a front-to-end perspective.
In this role, you also drive projects in the own area of responsibility and contribute to global initiatives driven by main stakeholders. You will be required to identify stakeholders and key organizations and build and manage relationships, lead the identification, and drive resolution of messaging and standards related issues. You direct the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis, and assess risk when business decisions are made by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Global Messaging & Sanctions is the global competence center and single point of contact for all financial messaging usage, sanction screening and development within UBS/Credit Suisse. The team ensures that the bank is internally and externally connected for the purpose of processing its transactions and in compliance with regulations. It pursues a full-service approach for messaging including processing and advisory. Proactive stakeholder management together with anticipation of market and regulatory developments are key to success.
- You Offer

You’ll be a good match if you have/are:

- At least 8 years of experience in financial markets with a sound understanding of Banking IT
- In-depth understanding of banking processes and good experience in project management
- Analytical capabilities and strong in developing and implementing solutions and measures, even if encountering resistance
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as diplomacy to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
