The Marketing Operations Lead is building and leading implementation of digital and omnichannel customer engagement strategy across species to maximize synergies between business units and to ensure the best customer experience.

In this role you will be partnering with country Marketing colleagues, DACH/EURAM Marketing Operations, Digital, IT teams.

Reporting to the Country Managing Director and a member of the Country Leadership Team and key point of contact for digital and omnichannel customer engagement strategy execution in Animal Health Switzerland.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and lead implementation of omnichannel customer engagement strategy across species.
- Collaborate with Marketeers on building and executing Omnichannel Customer Engagement plans, in line with the brand strategy and local tactical priorities, including identification of personas, messages/content, channel mix.
- Ensure high quality relevant campaign and content creation with high share of global, DACH and other available content repurpose.
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns and assess against objectives and KPIs.
- Identify trends, insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
- Collaborate with business units to optimize user experience and communication.
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Ensure execution of digital strategy for Animal Health Switzerland and accelerate adoption of our company’s digital capabilities, tools.

**Profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in e.g. business, marketing or communications.
- Five year’s work experience in digital marketing.
- Experience working with different channels, touch points and media.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Understanding of modern marketing tools, lead generation and experience in content creation.
- A core drive to innovate and try new things.
- Exceptional internal and external communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in and English and preferably German.

Our Animal Health Marketing team takes a customer centric perspective using customer feedback and market intelligence data. Using this data, we design, develop and deploy products, platforms, brands and marketing initiatives that ensure we can improve the health and well-being of animals everywhere.

THE COMPANY

Our company has had a presence in Switzerland since 1963. With a regional office and manufacturing/packaging facility, Lucerne is considered the center of operations. Approximately 1,000 people work collaboratively at the four Lucerne locations (Tribschenstrasse, Citybay, Schachen and Kriens). A fifth location has been recently established in Zurich, aimed at accelerating the development and commercialization of many of our company’s medicines and vaccines, which supports our mission to save and improve lives around the world. The new location has a target date of 2021 for operational readiness. The Switzerland Head Office of our company’s Swiss Subsidiary is based in Lucerne's city centre.
