The positions we offer are best suited to recent graduates of a course of study, preferably at master’s level or higher (although not exclusively), and with at least one previous professional experience.

Conditions and benefits of the Early Careers Programme- Full-time onsite employment contract of 6 months with the World Economic Forum Geneva office- We are flexible to accommodate start dates between March 1st to May 15th 2023- Monthly gross compensation of CHF 4’400 (salary: CHF 4’050. plus health benefits: CHF 350-)- All required technological equipment (laptop and mobile phone) and accesses- This programme is not eligible for relocation support

Role 1 - ECP - Global Plastic Action Partnership- Support the Strategic Communications Lead in mapping, drafting and implementing the GPAP communications strategy.- Administrative support ahead of milestone moments, acting as a focal point with external partners for the timely delivery of products and events.- Maintain up to date content on public channels, including website and community newsletter.- Manage content planning, coordination and dissemination on priorities and events.- Support the delivery of speaking opportunities and events for GPAP team members.-
- Work with global plastic treaty lead to communicate and coordinate with stakeholders for GPAP’s effective delivery across negotiations.- Prepare briefs and talking points on treaty related milestones.- Work with treaty lead to develop products and tools to share more widely with strategic partners- Monitor and summarise core global plastics treaty outcomes and outputs, create relevant visual content and update wider team regularly.

Preferred requirements and experience:
- Previous experience or competencies in communications, coordination and product/tool creation- Excellent organizational skills, self-starter, with strong attention to detail and willingness to take on the necessary administrative tasks- Agile and adaptative mindset to shifting priorities and needs- Ability to be able to break down complex documents and initiatives into accessible assets and content for further dissemination.- Collaborative attitude, able to work independently or in teams as per need- Flexible, committed and mature to enjoy working in a multicultural, fast-paced environment, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluency in spoken and written English; additional languages would be an asset

Role 2 - ECP - Industry Transformation, Energy, Materials and Infrastructure- Develop the platform’s communication plan in collaboration with the team- Develop content including writing, editing, and scheduling social media posts and blogs- Collaborate with the media/public engagement team to manage internal processes and provide general administrative support.- Support maintenance of engagement materials, projects website and Toplink platform

Preferred requirements and experience:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in communication, energy or related field- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with a creative mind- Experience with communication strategy- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to workRole 3 - ECP - Global Lighthouse Network
- Advanced Manufacturing and Value Chains- Co-managing the community of Global Lighthouse Network partners (including e.g, conversations with senior executives in the network) and / or other Platform communities- Ideate and coordinate the development of a new communication strategy and materials for the community- Liaise on the media strategy for the Initiative community with the Forum’s media
