The positions we offer are best suited to recent graduates of a course of study, preferably at master’s level and up to 2 years of cumulated professional experience.
We expect applicants to provide:

Conditions and benefits of the Early Careers Programme- Full-time onsite employment of 6 months with the World Economic Forum Geneva office.- We will accommodate start dates between 1 April to 30 April 2024.- Monthly gross compensation of CHF 4’400. (salary: CHF 4’050- plus health benefits: CHF 350-).- All required technological equipment (laptop and mobile phone) and accesses.- Immigration and mínimal relocation support.
Role: GLOBAL PROGRAMMING GROUP - EVENT EDITORIAL TEAM
The Global Programming Group is the team responsible for stewardship of the Forum’s world-class events and dedicated to providing consistent events architecture and services to support the Forum’s value proposition and impact agenda. It achieves this by shaping the Forum’s major events in the service of impact by embedding cutting edge intelligence, delivering novel interaction and experiences, and developing design frameworks and tools that support the Forum’s impact objectives.
Within the Global Programming Group, the early Career Programme will work in close collaboration with the Event Management, Logistics and Design units to help provide a consistent events architecture and services. It also involves working extensively with relevant teams across the house to assist in the design, development, and delivery of the programme for Forum’s events.- Provide coordination support of both content and operational issues related to the programme of institutional events.- Assist in developing relevant event editorial processes and templates and contribute to continuous improvements of event editorial dashboards or other Forum tools.- Contribute to the programme design and development for major institutional events by synthesizing content proposals, curating or editing session descriptions and session structures- Participate in the editorial process by scanning for emerging issues, potential speakers and identifying relevant experts to stay abreast of the latest developments in select thematic portfolios.
Preferred qualification and experience:
- An advanced university degree in business, media, communications, economics, international affairs, or other relevant fields.- Introductory experience with programme curation and event operations.- Experience thriving in a multicultural work setting that is highly collaborative, and fast-paced; flexibility and the ability to embrace ambiguity is a must.

- Team player and self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.- Strong project management and coordination skills with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.- Effective interpersonal and relationship management skills, including verbal and written communications and presentations.
