Why we are recruiting
The Hospitality Team coordinates all World Economic Forum events at its headquarters and around Geneva. The team is also responsible for maintaining a high standard of services (catering, hotel booking, reception etc.) provided to Forum staff, collaborators and visitors.
The Hospitality Specialist will provide support on daily tasks and projects, working with a strong team spirit to deliver events and maintain the high standard of services at our headquarters.

Reporting to Head of Hospitality
Interaction with internal staff, external participants, and suppliers
Breakdown of main responsibilities
Reception responsibilities 42%- Provide excellent customer service minded attitude at the Reception desk- Enforce security policies and procedures- Key person for staff regarding local onsite information- Mail and newspaper distribution- Provide support to the incoming calls of the Forum main landline- Support other teams if need be (periodic and on-going work assignments)- In charge of reception function on events taking place at the Cologny premises
Hospitality responsibilities 58%- Provide support to staff in small meeting room booking arrangements- Coordinate small events- Provide support to Hospitality Services Team during major events- Provide support to staff events coordination: offsite, jubilee, team retreat- In charge of the daily staff shuttle services- In charge of the overall locker system- Provide support to Hospitality Services Team for administrative work- Ensure discretion and responsiveness at all time- Provide high level of service- Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure timely delivery- Being responsible for communication- Shows respect towards colleagues and seeks constructive feedback- Takes full responsibility for his/her own actions- Recognizes and values the contribution of others
Preferred Requirements and Experience- Degree in hotel management, hospitality, travel/tourism- High level of adaptability in a continually evolving international environment- 3 -5 years’ experience in a hotel or family office, or event industry or as an independent- Fluent in English, French oral understanding, other language is a plus- Fast thinker, organized, flexible, analytic and practical- Positive attitude and open-minded nature- Honest and humble- Team player- Service oriented, with strong attention to details; discrete and rigorous
