**We are looking for a HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT**
This role combines operational and strategic tasks to optimize national shop operations in Switzerland, as well as developing and implementing strategic projects across the company.
**Key responsibilities**
Operational (Area Manager):
- Operationally oversee up to 2 outlets (develop
- and testoutlets) in the assigned region, ensuring customer service, visual merchandising and stock management standards are met.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies in the assigned pharmacies to implement, meet and exceed sales and profitability targets in each shop.
- Ensure the training and ongoing development of staff to maintain high standards of service and performance.
Strategic (Head of Project Management):
- Design and implement strategic projects for the implementation of new shop concepts, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Leading and overseeing of all projects for the Sales and Pharmacy departments to improve the operational efficiency and profitability of the outlets and to meet customer expectations.
- Work closely with other departments to develop cross-functional processes to ensure quality and consistency of operations across the business.
**What Will Make You Successful**
- Proven experience as an area manager, preferably in the retail or discount sector, with a strong understanding of shop operations and sales strategies.
- Proven project management experience, with the ability to deliver large-scale initiatives on time and within budget.
- Strong process development and change management skills, with the ability to design and implement strategic initiatives across the business.
- Expertise in change management, with the ability to mobilize teams.
- Clear retail-mindset
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experienced in reporting to and communicating with Executive Board
- Able to act as sparring-partner for Executive Board
- Geographical mobility required, with a willingness to travel regularly within the assigned area to oversee field operations and support teams.
- German, English fluent, French a plus
