Implementation of Commodity strategy

Understand of required technologies for Cables and electromechanical parts, geographical spread, supply markets & trends, cost drivers and the impact to GFMS business model

Monitoring and reporting about Procurement KPIs

Analyze, improve and implement Procurement processes in agreement with Head of Global Commodity Management

Support APE’ and R&D to select best supplier, ensuring that our supply base aligns with our environmental, social, and ethical standards

Integrate sustainable practices into our procurement processes

Conduct global negotiations

Assesses and develops suppliers from the commercial standpoint

Conduct the processes during the phase-out/in of suppliers

Spent analysis on global level between different TU’s

Strong collaboration with Supplier Development, also to ensure sustainability targets

Support Operative Purchasing in case of serious delivery problems from a supplier

Bachelor’s degree in Procurement or Supply Chain

Experience and knowledge of both Operational and Strategic Buying/Category Management

German and English fluent, Italian and French welcome

Ability to persuade and influence suppliers to achieve best outcome

Hands on experience of using SAP ERP in a purchasing/procurement role as well as Microsoft Office

Purchasing expertise in tendering, negotiation tactics, planning and contracting

Procurement mindset and ability to manage several priorities simultaneously
