**BACKGROUND**

The Group Sustainability department has global responsibility for:

- Sustainability Strategy at Group level
- ESG reporting
- ESG risks including reputational risk
- Science Based Targets
- Executive training
- Board engagement on sustainability
- Sustainability consultancy services to 26 Maisons and Regions

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Reporting directly to the CSO this new role will be responsible for the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:

- Driving the sustainability transformation at Group level, Maisons and Region
- Change management by facilitating the Richemont Sustainability collaborative organization
- Deliver training and learning offerings to integrate the sustainability strategy
- Organizing the sustainability internal consultancy services to the Maisons and Regions
- Manage Maisons and Region expectations and satisfaction with sustainability services
- The role will be able to develop a team

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**
- Change Management and strategy
- Sustainability - ESG technical knowledge
- Excellent communication, negotiation and facilitation skills
- ESG performance measurement

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Masters degree in relevant disciplines (business, law, political science)
- Advanced training in sustainability management
- 10 to 15 years of experience in a corporate sustainability function, possibly in a consulting firm
- Experience or strong interest in the luxury sector
- International experience including in Asia an asset

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- Have sound commercial judgment, strong intellect and the confidence to take the lead in negotiations with both internal and external counterparties.
- Demonstrate excellent persuasive and negotiation skills, as they will be required to represent the group several strategic matters of a complex nature.
- Articulate proposals clearly, balance the requirement for technical expertise, and have the ability to recognise the bigger commercial picture.

Each of the areas of responsibility will involve a variety of different challenges requiring the person to be both flexible and adaptable whilst demonstrating gravitas in their dealings with internal and external counterparties.
