THE ROLE Wir suchen einen F&B Coordinator für unser Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich Team Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zürich befindet sich im Herzen der Altstadt, im Hauptgeschäftszentrum, in der Nähe der Freizeitattraktionen der Stadt und nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Ufer des Zürichsees entfernt. Das Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zürich verfügt über 80 Gästezimmer und Suiten sowie drei gastronomische Einrichtungen, darunter ein ganztägig geöffnetes Restaurant, ein Spezialitätenrestaurant und eine Lobby Lounge. Das Hotel ist mit seinen neu renovierten Veranstaltungseinrichtungen, einschließlich eines großen historischen Ballsaals, ideal für Meetings und Veranstaltungen geeignet. *** Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich is located in the heart of the Old Town, in the main business center, close to the city's leisure attractions and just a short walk from the shores of Lake Zurich. The Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich has 80 guest rooms and suites and three dining venues, including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a lobby lounge. The hotel is ideal for meetings and events with its newly renovated event facilities, including a grand historic ballroom. TLNT1_CH YOUR TASKS Als F&B Coordinator werden Sie verantwortlich für folgende Aufgaben sein: Vorbereitung interner Meetings und Protokollführung Pflege der Buchungstools für alle F&B-Outlets Verwaltung von Reservierungen und Organisation von Veranstaltungen Allgemeine Korrespondenz in Deutsch und Englisch Erstellung von Speise- und Getränkekarten Bearbeitung von Gästefeedback vor Ort und online Annahme und Bestätigung von Tischreservierungen Begrüssung und Platzierung von Gästen und Stammkunden in den Restaurants Betreuung und Beratung der Gäste Unterstützung des Serviceteams Verwaltung und Bewirtschaftung der Systeme SevenRooms (TMS), Infrasys (POS, Saferpay (Payment Provider), Moreton Bay (Warenwirtschaft), HMS (PMS) Erstellung von Statistiken, Auswertungen und Berichten Organisation von Veranstaltungen Übernahme zusätzlicher administrativer Aufgaben für den Asst. F&B Director *** As F&B Coordinator you will be responsible for the following tasks: Maintenance of booking tools for all F&B outlets. Management of reservations and event organization. General correspondence in German and English. Creation of food and beverage menus. Handling guest feedback on-site and online. Acceptance and confirmation of table reservations. Guest care and consultation. Support for the service team. Administration and management of systems such as SevenRooms (TMS), Infrasys (POS), Saferpay (payment provider), Moreton Bay (inventory management), HMS (PMS). Preparation of statistics, analyses, and reports. Event organization. Assumption of additional administrative tasks for the Assistant F&B Director. YOUR PROFILE Als F&B Coordinator erwarten wir von Ihnen: Ausbildung im Bereich Restaurant- oder Hotelfach. Mindestens 2 Jahre Berufserfahrung im Verantwortungsbereich Organisationstalent, Führungsstärke und die Fähigkeit, ein Team von Mitarbeitern verschiedenster Kulturkreise einfühlsam und mit Disziplin zu führen, sind Grundlage für diese Position Kommunikationsstärke, mündlich als auch schriftlich – die Gäste werden sich sowohl mit Beschwerden als auch positivem Feedback an Sie wenden, deshalb sind Sie immer offen und ansprechbar Hohes Qualitätsbewusstsein, exzellente Umgangsformen und gepflegtes Äußeres, sowie eine positive Ausstrahlung Ausdrucksfähigkeit, Aufgeschlossenheit sowie Teamgeist Gute EDV-Kenntnisse, wünschenswert wären Kenntnisse mit dem Kassensystem Infrasys und dem Buchingsystem SevenRooms Belastbarkeit und Flexibilität – zu Ihrer Position gehören Wochenend- und Feiertagsschichten Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse. Weitere Fremdsprachenkenntnisse sind von Vorteil *** As F&B Coordinator, we expect from you: Training in the restaurant or hotel management sector, with at least 2 years of professional experience in the area of responsibility. Organizational talent, strong leadership skills, and the ability to lead a team of employees from diverse cultural backgrounds with empathy and discipline are essential for this position. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written – guests will approach you with both complaints and positive feedback, so you are always approachable and open. High quality awareness, excellent manners, a well-groomed appearance, and a positive demeanor. Articulateness, openness, and team spirit. Good IT skills, knowledge of the Infrasys POS system and the SevenRooms booking system would be an advantage. Resilience and flexibility – your position includes weekend and holiday shifts. Excellent German and English skills. Additional foreign language skills are an advantage.
