Internal Communication Specialist

As an Internal Communication Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of our key programs and initiatives that engages employees and strengthens the company's culture. Reporting to the Group Internal Communication Manager, within the Group Marketing & Communication department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring message consistency and alignment with our vision: Empower and Engage employees to shape the future of the packaging world.Internal Communication Specialist (100%, based in Mex, VD)

Main tasks and responsibilities:

1. Support the execution of our Employee Engagement, Employer Branding and Human Resources (HR) initiatives to inspire, engage and connect employees
­
  • Participate in the elaboration of internal communication and employer branding activities (brainstorming sessions, ideation and conceptualization of videos etc.) Participate in and/or coordinate projects that foster a sense of community, recognition, and belonging
  • Execute the EVP/Employer branding plan, and partner with the Talent Acquisition team to develop content on videos, LinkedIn, fairs etc.
  • Support the HR communities in their facing employee's communication activities
  • Work with key organizational stakeholders to ensure internal communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company's goals and values

2. Support planning and execution of internal communication network activities to ensure consistent messaging and programs across all internal channels to drive One BOBST globally

  • By working closely with the communication members across the organization globally, you will:
  • Help ensure our global roadmap is implemented in our various sites worldwide
  • Manage our content calendar to schedule and organize communication initiatives
  • Use our global analytics dashboard as an improvement tool to drive progress

3. Coordinate internal communication activities and network for the Bobst Mex local site, in Switzerland

  • Develop and execute the internal communications plan for the Mex site. This includes key messaging, communication channels and tactics
  • Create and deliver internal communications content, including intranet content, videos, and presentations
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications
  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure that internal communications are timely and relevant
  • Ensure the local communication network is at the expected level of skills by organizing training sessions
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Team in the EVP/Employer Branding activation plan for Switzerland


Required professional experience and background:
­
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in internal communications, content management, or related roles
  • ­Strong Writing Skills: Excellent writing and editing abilities, with attention to detail
  • ­Digital Literacy: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), intranet platforms, Teams, SharePoint
  • ­Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Project Management Experience (a plus)

Education and language requirements:

  • University degree in Communication/Marketing/Economics
  • Fluency in English is a must, fluency in French and any other languages are an asset

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
It also trains each year roughly 200 apprentices. The site offers an idyllic work environment. In the countryside and close to major highways, it is also well served by public transport. It offers many amenities, such as a corporate restaurant, sports fields, a fitness and a nursery. The facilities have been recently renovated and represent a model for sustainable development.
