Key accountabilities: 

  • Selling chemistry services to bring in and close new orders 
  • Account management and continued development of existing clients 
  • Acquisition of new client accounts 
  • Liaison with project management and scientific staff within business units 
  • Translate market & territory surveys into business plans 
  • Contribute to development of market segment strategies to match the growing portfolio of businesses within the division 
  • Development of strategy with clients and business units aimed at improving overall business process 
  • Management of sales budget 

Your Profile: 

  • Degree (BA or BSc) in a life science discipline, preferably chemistry or chemical engineering 
  • At least 5-7 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or life science sectors 
  • Experience of sales in a highly competitive environment 
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Work effectively in a multi-functional and multi-cultural team 
  • Fluent in German and English
