Head of Sales

I am partnered with a global player in the Specialty Chemicals industry, who are at the forefront of utilizing cutting-edge technology to innovate solutions for Industrial Coatings and Specialty polymer applications. They are seeking an experienced Head of Sales to help drive their commercial growth and lead their expanding team.
As Head of Sales, you will:
- Spearhead the development and execution of strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services in the Specialty Chemicals sector.
- Drive the expansion of market share through penetration in new sectors and enhancing relationships with existing accounts.
- Lead a high-performance sales team; recruiting, training, mentoring, and providing motivational support.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Development, and R&D to deliver comprehensive solutions to the market.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field. Advanced degree (MBA, PhD) is preferred.
- At least 10 years of sales leadership experience within the chemical manufacturing industry.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and managing a high-performing sales team.
- Profound knowledge of the chemical market and its competitive landscape.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and team management skills.
