Regional Director Alps and Eastern Europe

The Okta Alps and Eastern Europe is growing a team of high-performing, entrepreneurial and driven sales professionals. Playing a key role in the global expansion as a market leader in the EMEA. After establishing entities in Zurich and Warsaw with a notable customer base in Switzerland and Austria, the team continues to expand and we are looking for an experienced Regional Director to help guide and mentor the existing team to further successes.

We are looking for a successful and driven sales leader to report into the Regional VP for CEE, to focus on managing and further building a high-performing sales team. This leader will focus on coaching and developing the team to continue to succeed through skill development, adherence to activity standards, providing inspiration, and building a highly empowered, diverse, constructive sales culture.

As an Okta Regional Director you will:

  1. Be an active part of the CEE Leadership team; inputting to the strategy and growth of the region.
  2. Own the strategy and business plan for the region to show how you will execute against revenue and headcount goals.
  3. Provide leadership and coaching to a team of experienced Account Executives; creating a shared vision and strong team culture.
  4. Drive for big wins whilst also being mindful of land and expand opportunities as we grow out this segment.
  5. Ensure the team are utilizing all resources internally as well as their own skills to drive pipeline and hunt in their new logo accounts.
  6. Adopt a collaborative approach with the x-functional teams ensuring the team has the support needed from Alliances, Sales Development, Pre-Sales, Customer First, Legal, Business Value, Marketing and more.
  7. Collaborate with our Alliances and GSI teams to solidify and grow our relationships with key partners.
  8. Act as an Executive Sponsor on critical deal opportunities.
  9. Support the AE's with using MEDDPICCC to navigate complexity; spot gaps and maximize opportunities.
  10. Lead by example by running forecasting accuracy and ensuring deal accountability.
  11. Provide ongoing performance reviews supporting the AE's with career development.
  12. Live by a data driven approach; using data to monitor and track team performance.

You could be a great fit for this role if you have:

  1. Strong experience leading and empowering Account Executives.
  2. Growing a business through a strong indirect, partner-first sales motion.
  3. Previous experience in the sales environment with a large degree of operational rigour and sales excellence.
  4. Coached others on the use of MEDDICC or similar sales framework.
  5. Experience managing a new business focused team with demonstrable success bringing on new logos.
  6. The ability to build a culture of trust and collaboration with a strong coaching mindset.
  7. Experience leading through significant growth and/or change within a 'build' phase technology company.
  8. Demonstrated ability to accurately and boldly forecast sales results.
  9. Previous successful experience in building multi-year business plans and executing the GTM strategy.
