The University of St. Gallen and its School of Management seek a highly qualified Associate Professor in Retail Marketing with expertise in behavioral sciences and digital transformation.

  • Conduct research in retail marketing, with a strong empirical background in behavioral sciences and digital transformation
  • Develop and teach innovative courses on retail marketing, with a focus on digital transformation
  • Collaborate with industry partners and contribute to the development of the retail lab

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Retail Marketing or a related field (e.g. psychology, decision science)
  • Extensive experience in Retail Marketing, with a strong research background in behavioral sciences and digital transformation
  • Experience in quantitative research methods, including experimental research and new interdisciplinary techniques
  • Track record of publications in internationally recognized journals

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong research program addressing the challenges of a digitally transforming society
  • Innovative teaching methods and a passion for teaching
  • Experience in collaborating with retail business practice
  • Experience in acquiring third-party funding
