Customer Support Specialist

We are looking for a Customer Support Specialist who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
Job Description
An ideal candidate should be empathetic and detail-oriented, with a genuine desire to help customers. Join our team and support us in our aim to provide top-notch customer service and ensure customer satisfaction at every touchpoint. In this role, you will handle customer technical inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely solutions across various communication channels such as email, chat, and phone.
The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and an ability to adapt to various situations with ease. You are patient, proactive, and have a positive attitude that helps create a welcoming environment for both customers and team members. You will work with collaborators of mixed backgrounds, so good interpersonal skills, effective communication skills, and a can-do attitude are essential. Managing various, diverse tasks at the same time does not phase you.
Responsibilities
- Address user questions on LCA, data, licensing, and pricing
- Explain ecoinvent’s data and process standards
- Collaborate with the technical and sales teams to resolve complex inquiries
- Manage, allocate, and analyze inquiries, reporting trends and contributing to the knowledge base
Requirements
- One year of experience in customer support, ideally within the sustainability or environmental data sectors
- Ideally basic understanding of LCA or an interest in sustainability topics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate technical information into customer-friendly language
- High emotional intelligence, understanding customer concerns, and remaining patient in all situations
- Fluent English and B2+ German
- A benefit would be coming from an educational type background - The ability to clearly and patiently communicate will be very important
