Job Description

Present across the country, Protectas has several sites used by business users that require assistance remotely or onsite. As a member of the Services Management Office, you will join a small Service Desk team responsible for that assistance. While most support is performed remotely, large and medium sites require regular onsite presence.

As Service Desk Specialist you will:

  1. Support user incidents and service requests in our ITSM tool.
  2. Advise users about IT processes and technical solutions.
  3. Support onsite IT systems.
  4. Deploy and set up computers and manage hardware lifecycle.
  5. Keep IT asset information up to date.
  6. Propose actions to improve our processes and user experience in workplaces.
  7. Manage Windows OS lifecycle and patching.
  8. Manage printers.
  9. Participate in country or group projects to modernize workplaces.

Qualifications

  1. Experience delivering a high level of customer service.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Active and empathic listener.
  4. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  5. Ability to manage own time effectively and to be prompt and punctual.
  6. Experience working effectively within a team and collaborating with others to achieve a goal.
  7. Demonstrable ability to think critically and provide solutions through various problem-solving techniques.
  8. Experience developing professional working relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  9. Drive, self-motivation, and ability to work on own initiative.

Technical skills:

  1. Windows 10, Windows 11.
  2. Active Directory, DHCP, DNS.
  3. Office 365, MS Teams phone system.
  4. SCCM – deployment, packaging, and patching.
  5. ITSM tools – Service Now, Ivanti.
  6. Teamviewer.
  7. Project/change management.
  8. ITIL.
  9. French and English skills (German is a plus).
