Technology Sales Manager

Mex VD, Schweiz Bobst Group SA Vollzeit

Play a key/leading role in the sales activities, negotiations as well as order processing and order management ensuring an overall customers’ satisfaction from first contact up to machine acceptance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Play a key role in deals negotiation process in alignment with the Product Line targets.
  2. Actively support and initiate new customer search in local markets.
  3. Be the technical reference and partner for LSM and agents from stage 1 ( “lead “ ) to the final order.
  4. Provide technical solution in order to fulfill Customer need and provide machine/factory layout, performance/ acceptance criteria’s etc.
  5. Define Specialties (content price and delivery) with R&D & Product Marketing/ follow up delivery alignment between Machine and Specialty.
  6. Support the legal entities Bobst in Machine Sales Contracts processing, Sales Order Forms (SOF) and all parameter and appendixes linked to the contract and coordinate internal order and project process.
  7. Build strong and close business relation with key customers.
  8. Constantly acquire product knowledge, its process and added value.
  9. Contribute in the key event preparation (Open Houses & Exhibition local or Global) and attend when required.
  10. Perform product and process training to LSM / RSM / ZBD’s and Agents.
  11. Ensure project reporting in CRM and provide monthly booking forecast.
  12. Ensure full compliance between customers contract and company requirements, (liaise with necessary support functions, legal, finance etc..).
  13. Travel 40-60%.

Your Profile:

  1. Technical or commercial education with a strong technical affinity, extensive sales training or education.
  2. At least 5 years (or more) experience in marketing / sales / service / technical department of Bobst or in industry, proven experience in sales of capital goods.
  3. You have successful experience in a similar position in industry in an international environment.
  4. Commercial acuity and strong interpersonal skills.
  5. Self-driven person with natural feeling for selling, advising and convincing.
  6. Have a team spirit and business thinking mindset.
  7. Strong negotiations skills with decision making drive.
  8. Strong product knowledge is an asset.
  9. English is a must, other languages are an asset.
  10. User knowledge of commonly used software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
