Business Office Assistant

Work Hours/Schedule: Flexible Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm
Primary purpose of position: Providing general office assistance
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist with reviewing and processing checks. Requires alphabetizing, stuffing checks, verification of correct address and correct vendor.
- Assist with general ledger journal entry preparation and review. Requires basic understanding of Microsoft Excel and keyboard shortcuts. Basic understanding of accounting a plus.
- Assist with additional Business Office projects such as invoicing, processing, and filing various documents, and reviewing processes for accuracy.
- May assist with other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
- Ability to work independently but not afraid to ask questions.
- General working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong administrative skills (sorting, alphabetizing, cross-referencing).
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of employees and students.
- Ability to pay attention to detail and closely follow written procedures.
- Maintain a pleasant, positive, and Christ-centered attitude.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Education Requirements/Experience: All majors will be considered.
