Redstone Commodity Search is working with a well-known trading house looking to hire a Refractory Sales Specialist to join the team in Lugano.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks
- Expand and manage the customer base, acquire new clients, and analyze market trends and opportunities.
- Advise customers on selecting appropriate refractory products, interpret technical specifications, conduct technical visits, prepare quotations, and oversee the order process.
- Supervise refractory installations and trials, ensuring customer satisfaction and product performance.
- Monitor market developments, develop sales strategies, and collaborate with internal teams while reporting to management.
- Role reports to the director.
Key Qualifications / Experience
- 5+ years of experience in refractory technical sales within the metal space.
- Master’s degree in engineering, with a preference for Metallurgy or Material Science.
- Strong knowledge of steel production as well as the related application of refractory products.
- Fluent in Italian and German.
- Located or willing to relocate to Lugano.
