Licensing Strategy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Out-Licensing Manager to join our Commercial Division at our HQ in Ticino, Switzerland.
About the RoleAs an Out-Licensing Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing licensing strategies to maximize revenue and market presence for our client, a Swiss Pharmaceutical Company. You will identify potential licensing partners, evaluate their fit with our company goals, and negotiate international distribution, licensing, and supply agreements.
Your tasks will include:
- Developing and executing licensing strategies to maximize revenue and market presence;
- Identifying potential licensing partners and evaluating their fit with the company's goals;
- Negotiating international distribution, licensing, and supply agreements and business terms with the support of the company legal department;
- Collaborating with Business Development on possible in-licensing activities;
- Building and nurturing relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry influencers;
- Scouting and analysis performed on databases (Global Data, iQVIA, desk research etc.);
- Collection and analysis of information and data relevant to therapeutic setting and competitive arena;
- Preparation of presentations for licensing and internal purposes aimed at valorisation of potential deals, commercial discussions, contracts negotiation and their finalizations;
- Participation to licensing events;
- Manage financials including sales forecasting, control of product revenues, payments, costs and pricing structures (including P&L, NPV, Payback period model & analysis);
- Collaborate with product strategic teams to align licensing strategies with product roadmaps.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in the Pharmaceutical Industry. Your qualifications should include:
- Degree in relevant scientific or economic discipline;
- +3yrs of experience in any of the following roles: Licensing, Business Development, Marketing, Sales or Alliance Management;
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry;
- Keen understanding of the licensing landscape (basic understanding of intellectual property laws and licensing regulations are a huge asset);
- Product management skills advantageous;
- Financial acumen and understanding of business valuation;
- Able to identify opportunities for growth and expansion;
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities;
- Strong negotiation skills;
- Fluency in English.
We offer a competitive salary range of €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as other benefits such as professional development opportunities, flexible working hours, and a dynamic work environment.
