TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER – Cosmetics Division

We are seeking a driven Technical Sales Manager to join RAHN France’s growing Cosmetics team, bringing expertise in active ingredients for cosmetics. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base, driving new business opportunities, and cultivating strong client relationships across the cosmetics sector in France, and ideally in Belgium and Luxembourg.

This position is home-based, ideally in the Paris or Lyon region, with regular travel to meet clients and attend industry events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients and identify new potential clients within the industry.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing clients with scientific and technical expertise on active ingredients.
  • Develop and coordinate new business opportunities, aligning closely with internal teams on objectives.
  • Analyze client needs and deliver tailored, solution-oriented proposals.
  • Lead product development projects from inception to execution, ensuring seamless collaboration between clients and internal teams.
  • Represent RAHN France at key trade shows and professional events within the cosmetics sector.

Your Profile:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in technical sales, business development, or a similar role within the cosmetics industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of the French cosmetics market, with additional experience in the Belgian and Luxembourg markets considered an asset.
  • Strong technical knowledge of active ingredients for cosmetics, with the ability to communicate complex scientific concepts effectively to clients.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development with a focus on technical or scientific products.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently, demonstrating a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving challenges.
  • Motivated by challenges in project management and client acquisition, with a strong sense of autonomy and teamwork.
  • Native-level French and fluency in English.
