We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Process Plants team in Switzerland.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for managing projects from transfer from Sales through to final delivery and invoicing.
- Oversee project execution while adhering to business processes, instructions, and regulations.
- Monitor project performance (financial, schedule, quality) and manage risks, issues, and changes.
- Manage project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and inspections.
- Ensure all internal departments understand their responsibilities and meet contractual obligations.
- Provide sales support during inquiry, offer, and negotiation phases.
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers, managing claims and communication.
- Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve cash flow without compromising quality or schedule.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Technical college degree, or equivalent technical education, combined with a training in project management.
- Successful track record in project execution in the chemical or petrochemical industry.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as Project Manager in an international environment is a must.
- Proven experience and skills dealing with international clients.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, excellent negotiation skills with international clients.
- High level of customer orientation and focus on quality.
- Strong process understanding and practical experience in SAP PS and SD Modules.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written is a must. Knowledge of German, French or Italian is an advantage.
