Securities Mandates Paying Agent Specialist

Your role
You will be mainly covering the Paying Agency service. As a paying agent you are responsible to supervise and control the execution of bond coupons, share dividends and funds withholding tax payments. You are acting as the connection between the external companies and UBS.

Your team
You will join a multi faceted team with a diverse portfolio of tasks within the Paying Agency Services, Capital Markets Services and Structured Products Issuance team. You will gain insight knowledge into the world of Operations, understanding the need-to-knows in booking and payment processes. You will be engaging with external and internal stakeholders on a daily basis and being able to utilize your creative and innovative thinking to establish more efficient processes. You will be interacting with internal (GWMO, Legal, Client Advisors, and IT) as well as external stakeholders (SMI Blue Chips companies, bond issuers, Northern Trust (Funds Mgmt), and SIX SIS/SDX).

Your expertise
• you speak fluent English and German
• you like challenging the status quo and have a proven track record of delivering on process improvements
• you are self starter, creative and innovative in enhancing existing processes
• you have good Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly in Excel (ie. VBA), OneNote, OneDrive, Sharepoint and MS Teams
• any additional programming language or software skill is a clear advantage (eg. Python, SQL, Alteryx, MS Access, PowerBI, Tableau, etc)
• financial product knowledge and/or Corporate Action Income Processing experience is a clear advantage
• you can communicate clearly with all managerial levels and you speak up, when necessary
• you can integrate in a team, have a flexible attitude to work and adapt to new situations easily
