In the context of its strong growth in Switzerland and internationally, La Redoute Business is looking for a Business Developer B2B in Switzerland to drive and execute the commercial strategy aimed at increasing visibility, sales, and revenue both online and offline for our furniture brands La Redoute Intérieurs and AMPM.

Reporting to the Commercial Director B2B you will hold a high-responsibility and important position crucial to drive commercial performance and to ensure the growth of our B2B service.

Part of the Galeries Lafayette group and from its origins as a wool mill, La Redoute has evolved into a heritage French brand, maintaining unique connections with its customers for over 180 years – initially through its catalogues and now digital. We specialise in designing furniture and home decor but also offer a range of fashion items to bring the French lifestyle to customer homes.

Key responsibilities :

As a key member of our B2B sales team, you are a commercial leader that will drive the growth of La Redoute's B2B business. You implement innovative business strategies and identify market opportunities to accelerate our ambitious sales growth. You are a strong leader that leads and develops sales, working closely with key stakeholders and taking on pivotal responsibilities to drive our B2B business and brands forward.

Sales Development and Revenue Growth:

  • Accelerate B2B sales development in Switzerland and implement global business strategies to enhance profitability and growth of our Switzerland B2B market.
  • Identify new market opportunities and lead market penetration efforts to increase market share and grow La Redoute's B2B business.
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, logistic and local teams to ensure offerings meet the needs of business clients.
  • Build strong relationships with business partners to ensure continuous business growth and drive strategic partnerships.

Strong Commercial Skills and a Team Player:

  • Work together with global sales teams to ensure exceptional delivery and achieve sales targets. Foster innovation and achieve excellent results.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong communication between B2B clients and internal teams, ensuring effective information flow and collaboration.
  • Manage and nurture the existing client portfolio to foster loyalty and growth, including project follow-up on deliveries, stock, and invoices.
  • Identify, target, and engage potential B2B prospects, negotiate, prepare, and close client quotes, offering tailored solutions and proposals.

What we look for :

  • Proven track record with between 2 to10 years of sales or business development experience, ideally in the furniture or another premium product industry.
  • Experience in managing a business segment or division, particularly in a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth and profitability in a competitive industry.
  • Exceptional commercial and people management skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capitabilities.
  • Excellent negotation and relationship management skills.
  • Innovative thinker with a proven ability to operationalize strategies effectively.
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented individual with a passion for driving change.
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration (BAC +2/3), Marketing, Commerce or International Trade.
  • Remote work policy with needing to be in the office (Montreux) for 2-3 days a week.
  • Fluency in French, English and German.
